“The Buckingham Group’s design and physical transformation of the home’s exterior and interior was a model of efficiency and creativity. They took an exterior that was worn, tired and nondescript and created a structure that has become a recognizable land mark on our street. The cast stone architectural detail that was added to the exterior was installed with the precision of an aircraft assembly line. Eighteen truckloads of stone and two truckloads of copper dormers were delivered from Dallas Texas in a carefully orchestrated schedule. Their expertise in design build remodeling yielded not only an architecturally unique structure but one that functions perfectly for our family.“

South Tulsa High Capacity Outdoor Kitchen Hudson Meadows 2022 Whether you are relatively new to outdoor cooking or an old hand, you’ll appreciate the abundance of features and the scale of this outdoor kitchen. The layout was designed to handle a variety of tasks such as breakfast, burgers and full course meals. Here, large groups and multifamily occasions are comfortable and easily served. Matching stainless range hoods provide ventilation and maintain fresh airflow throughout. A full roof protects both the kitchen and dining areas. And, when needed, the entire space can be “bug-proofed” by lowering remote controlled screens.

Braeswood 2007 kitchen remodel Knotty Alder cabinets provide a functional workspace with African Fantasy granite countertops providing aesthetic appeal. A simulated fireplace mantle hides the exhaust hood which is outfitted with a sound-deadening dampener provided by Fantech of Lenexa, Kansas. Push activated sections on the mantle hide lighting controls and duplex outlets. Cabinets at the end of the kitchen provide his and her hanging space

Room for Reflection – Millcreek Pond Euro style Jay Rambo cabinets with a high gloss acrylic finish provide an abundance of storage in this contemporary master bathroom. The husband’s vanity is the mirror image of the one shown in this photograph. A heated porcelain tile floor brings warmth to the interior. A black mosaic tile outlines its perimeter.

Total upscale kitchen remodel. A five-foot cooking center, manufactured by Galley Sink of Tulsa, Oklahoma is centered in an Alaska White Granite countertop. The countertop is serviced by two Delta faucets providing the heartbeat of this unique prep and serving center. A 48” Thermador dual-fuel range and hood with stainless steel finishes add to the convenience of cooking in this totally remodeled kitchen.

Abundant master bathroom storage remodel A custom Sapele frame surrounds the mirror in his side of this master bathroom. An acrylic soaking tub is centered under the cathedral ceiling. Large format porcelain tiles are warmed by a SunTouch electric heating floor mat. A HiMacs solid surface countertop with self-edge and integral solid surface bowl provide a maintenance free surface. Toiletries and towels are stored in an abundance of cabinet drawers wall cabinets.

Perfectly Appointed Forest Hills 1989 Bathroom Remodel Ten coats of Dupont automotive lacquer give these contemporary cabinets the durable finish requested for the husband’s master bath. Absolute black granite covers the countertop which features contemporary Kohler faucets and a custom fabricated under-mount bowl with a brushed nickel finish. Individual pieces of gold leaf were hand applied on the walls giving the unique overall appearance reflected in the mirror.

Chic and Shimmering – Fairway Estates The relaxing swirl of the water is apparent as this Jetta whirlpool is filled by a deck mount Kohler tub filler complete with French Bronze finish. The surface of the whirlpool platform is covered with large format porcelain tile.

Difference in the Details – Braniff Hills kitchen remodel A custom-built Burmese Teak butcher block top by Grothouse Lumber is combined with a unique granite to create an extraordinary center island and convenient workspace for the cook in this kitchen. A 48” Wolfe Dual-Fuel range and exhaust hood provides the perfect combination of cooking convenience for the owners.

Twin bookcases provide space for the storage of the homeowners’ collection of rare books. Base cabinets provide storage for their grandchildren’s toys. Home for the Holidays fireplace Wexford Estates 2012 A custom walnut fireplace mantle by Vintage Mantle Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma and adjoining walnut bookcases by Woodstock Woodworking of Tulsa, Oklahoma is featured at the end of this living room. This combination replaced a massive red brick fireplace that dominated the space providing a closed-in feeling in the living room.

Historic Restoration

Historic Restoration Sunset Terrace 2009 The front porch was completely rebuilt in accordance with the original specifications. Each piece of dental molding was hand cut. The stamped decorative steel support columns were removed, sand blasted, and powder coated.

Larger than Life fireplace South Tulsa 1985 A new zero-clearance fireplace was installed at the end of this spacious living room. For the sake of simplicity, large Travertine marble slabs were installed to cover the new fireplace chaise. Bookcases with mirror covered backs and ½” thick plate glass shelves were added to provide depth and dimension to the room. A custom fireplace screen, fireplace tool holder, and tools were fabricated specifically for this project by Ernie Wiemann Metalcraft of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Beveled Glass Beauty Architectural accuracy is created on both the front and rear porches by using HB&G PermaCast columns. The custom entry door has leaded and beveled glass inserts that were created to provide a combination of both privacy and beauty to the entry hall.

Fireplace Renovation

Stunning in Slate Pella Designer Series casement windows, outfitted with interior mini blinds, were installed for comfort and convenience. A cast concrete fireplace mantle and surround with a linen finish, custom manufactured by Solus Fireplaces embraces a Napoleon HD35 fireplace insert. Complete with a remote-controlled flame it provides a romantic setting in the room. A ten-foot-tall wall of split slate from Emser Tile & Stone adds both beauty and visual interest.

In order to accommodate three generations in this home we opened the kitchen to the family room providing an inviting space for social interaction. A cross-cut Travertine fireplace is the focal point in this family room. The top of the coffee table lifts off and provides a storage area for the third generation’s toys while the leather couches providing seating for the adults.

Outdoor Oasis Shady Oaks Estates 2012 The owner requested a total entertainment venue that would enable her to accommodate family gatherings of up to 100 people. The new design included an expansive custom Brazilian Mahogany deck, stamped concrete patio, and covered outdoor kitchen. Stainless steel cabinets by Danver Cabinets of Wallingford, CT became the foundation for a combination grill/smoker and an adjoining eating bar and fireplace.

Designed for the Good Times Patrick Henry 2015 Gracefully curved sidewalks lead from the new driveway and auto court, along the south side of the house to the rear yard. Completely surrounded by a privacy fence the yard includes a play area for children and a salt-water pool for relaxing during the dog days of summer. Stained railcar siding covers the cathedral ceiling and tastefully matches the color of the cedar fence.

Country Heaven Broken Arrow 2011 After converting the existing garage into a family room, a third bay was added to the freestanding garage. A large workshop was added to one end of the garage and a covered walkway installed to connect the remodeled structure to the home. Upon completion this design/build project created a home that not only satisfied the family’s needs but one that was strategically nestled between the oak trees that are in abundance on the property.

Fresh vinyl siding that never needs to be painted or a specialized cement siding job makes your house both attractive and appealing to new buyers. Everyone wants a house that is move-in ready, and great siding suggests minimal upkeep and effort in the future

The Perfect Transformation A new home office, master bathroom and master closet were added to the second story over the sunroom creating an expansive master suite. Three quarries were contacted and became sources for the multi-colored slate roof. As a result, the new and existing roofs are perfect matches. The unique stucco appearance of the second level was duplicated by our stucco subcontractor, who “punched” the fresh stucco with rag wrapped hands.

Replacing old windows that show water damage, flaking paint, leaks and drafts, with new, quality treated windows is an excellent remodeling project that adds value to your home. Add a bay window with an interesting shape like a half circle window or box bay can make a big impact when you look at the overall design of the front of your house.

Best Seats in the House Graystone 2009 attic home theater transformation Custom tiered seating with theater step lights accenting the way to the elevated platform are some of the features that make this attic space conversion a special entertainment environment. A Lutron Radio RA home automation system triggers a sequence of events leading to “show time” at the touch of one button. All lighting and operational controls in the media room are integrated into a whole house smart system.

A Waterstone 2023 remodel. This main bathroom suite is very large making it a fantastic aging-in-place example. Luxurious Quartzite abounds along with light toned wood-look tile flooring. Advanced shower controls provide overhead water delivery as well as handheld. Heated flooring and seating make for an easy, comfortable experience. And, traditional styling brings the presentation together.

Kitchen Remodel- Styled for Aging in Place A large lot with mature trees were incentives for this client to purchase a classic 1950s ranch house to retire in. An addition enlarged the master suite while the kitchen, utility and powder rooms were reconfigured for an updated floor plan. Existing hardwood floors were refinished, and new hardwood and tile floors added. Custom Shaker-style cabinets and granite countertops were installed throughout the project.

From Ordinary to Extraordinary Southern Park Estates 2020 Home Remodel With families spending more time at home, homeowners are looking for ways to add value and comfort to their homes through the addition of an outdoor living space. The food prep area features a custom cast concrete countertop, a 36” Blaze Grill, with a smoke capturing 42’ Blaze Hood. A simulated wood plank floor is made of porcelain tile for durability and ease of clean up making grilling a pleasure.

Master Bathroom Suite Owasso 2022 Bathroom Remodel Custom cabinets constructed of Superior Alder make a bold, yet refined, statement in this master bathroom. Contrasting quartzite countertops outfitted with Brizo facuets in their Lux Nickel finish complete the presentation. Custom mirrors and an electrically heated floor add to the warm, cozy and upscale status of the bathroom . From a practical standpoint, surfaces are quick to clean, while a wealth of cabinets provides an abundance of storage to keep things organized and close at hand.
